Robert M. Colliver, Executive Chairperson

Bob co-founded Stonebridge in 1999. His experience includes commercial and corporate finance solutions across renewable power, infrastructure (including public-private partnerships), seniors housing and long-term care, equipment lease financing and securitization, mortgage bonds and credit tenant leases, among other sectors.

Prior to Stonebridge, Bob held positions at Continental Bank of Canada, Bank of Montreal, then at Mutual Life of Canada as Investment Vice President.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph, an MBA from McMaster University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Cam Di Giorgio, Co-Chief Executive Officer

Cam joined Stonebridge in 2009 and leads the firm’s project finance business in the areas of renewable power, infrastructure and long-term care in the seniors housing sector. His team is involved in originating, structuring and syndicating financings for and on behalf of various institutional investors.

Prior to Stonebridge, Cam held progressively senior positions at Sun Life Financial, CIT Structured Finance, Newcourt Capital and Canada Life.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (York) and is an MBA from McMaster University.

Daniel Simunac, Co-Chief Executive Officer

Daniel joined Stonebridge in June 2023 and specializes in lending to commercial and institutional borrowers focusing on real estate & REITs, renewable power & infrastructure and founder-owned, publicly traded and sponsor-backed diversified corporates.

Prior to Stonebridge, Daniel was Principal Officer & Country Head at Raymond James Bank and Allied Irish Bank in Canada. He also held positions at TD Securities (TD Bank), Sun Life Financial and Travelers Canada.

He has a Bachelor in Architecture from Ryerson University, holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business (York) and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) completed at the Rotman School of Management (Toronto).

Darrell Salter, Executive Vice President, COO & CCO

Darrell joined Stonebridge in 2002 and oversees corporate operations, regulatory reporting & compliance, accounting & treasury functions, among other administrative aspects of the firm.

Prior to Stonebridge, Darrell held progressively senior positions at a major Canadian bank in commercial banking.

He has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Western University and a Bachelor in Commerce and MBA from the Odette School of Business (Windsor). He is also is a Certified Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).

Cormac Mac Lochlainn, Executive Vice President

Cormac joined Stonebridge in June 2023 specializing in lending to commercial and institutional borrowers with a focus on cash flow, leveraged & specialty finance, real estate, renewable power & infrastructure and project finance.

Prior to Stonebridge, Cormac held progressively senior corporate banking positions at Raymond James Bank Canada and Allied Irish Bank North America. Cormac began his career in equity research at Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley).

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and Master in Economic Science from University College Dublin (Ireland) and is a CFA Charterholder.

Rishi Gehi, MFin, CFA
Vice President, Project Finance

Rishi joined Stonebridge in 2013 and has held several progressive positions at the company, most recently as Vice President, Project Finance. Rishi has helped to respond to public procurements and secure committed financing for a variety of projects including P3/AFP transactions in the healthcare, social infrastructure, transportation, and utilities sectors. While at Stonebridge, Rishi has been instrumental in facilitating the development of new financing opportunities across the North American infrastructure market and has helped to secure and maintain a host of sponsor relationships for Stonebridge in the sector.

Prior to joining Stonebridge, Rishi worked in corporate lending at a Schedule I Canadian chartered bank. In addition to his professional experience, Rishi has received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a Masters of Finance from Queen’s University, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Angela Valdes
Vice President, Private Debt Asset Management

Angela joined Stonebridge in 2014 in our Portfolio Administration team to assist with the management of a portfolio of project finance investments. In 2016 she joined the Asset Management team to support the valuation and reporting functions of the unit, and has since progressed to senior management level.

In her current role as Vice President, Private Debt Asset Management, Angela is responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of new investment opportunities for Stonebridge Infrastructure Debt Funds and separately Managed Accounts, and related portfolio management and investor reporting and communication, as well supporting fund raising activities.

Prior to joining Stonebridge, Angela spent several years working in corporate banking for Grupo Financiero Banorte. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Master’s degree in Finance from the Universidad Regiomontana.
