Robert Colliver is a Co-Executive Chairman at Stonebridge Financial Corporation.
Bob’s career spans over 35 years of commercial and corporate lending experience, in the Canadian banking and private placement sector. Bob’s extensive financing experience includes energy, public sector financing (hospital and long-term care redevelopment), bulk lease securitization, mortgage bond investments, commercial loans, transportation equipment lending, natural resource lending, and many others.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Guelph where he received a B.Sc. degree in 1977, and of McMaster University, where he earned his M.B.A. in 1980. He also received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1990. Bob is an Advising Representative registered with the Ontario Securities Commission.
Denis Bourassa is a Co-Executive Chairman & Co-CEO at Stonebridge Financial Corporation.
Denis has over 35 years of commercial and corporate lending experience gained in the Canadian Banking and private placement sector.
Denis has extensive expertise in the energy including hydroelectric, gas cogeneration, biomass and biogas, and wind power. His broad financing experience extends to infrastructure projects including hospitals and nursing homes, educational institutions, water and wastewater, highway, waste disposal and composting projects, many of which were done through Public Private Partnerships.
Denis is a graduate of the University of Laval where he received a Bachelor in Economics in 1979, and his MBA in 1981. He is currently a member of the AMBAQ (Association des MBA du Quebec).
Jim Cahill rejoined Stonebridge in 2017 as President & Co-CEO to oversee day to day business operations and to assist with business development.
Jim has over 25 years of experience in the areas of project finance, structured finance, discount lease securitization and public-private partnerships. Before joining Stonebridge Jim was Senior Vice President at Aon Risk Solutions’ Toronto based Construction Services group for three years and prior to Aon, Jim lead the Project Finance department at Infrastructure Ontario in support of Infrastructure Ontario’s Major Projects, New Business, Buildings and Lands divisions.
His broad financing experience, gained through roles in both the private and public sectors, extends to infrastructure projects including highways, hospitals, court houses, recreation facilities, long-term care homes, waste management facilities, educational institutions, and others.
Jim is a graduate of University of Waterloo where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and he holds a Chartered Professional Accountant, CMA designation.
Darrell Salter joined Stonebridge in 2002 and presently is responsible for corporate operations, including IT, Human Resources, regulatory reporting, compliance, corporate and trust accounting, and cash management.
Prior to joining Stonebridge, Darrell gained over 8 years of financial experience, through various managerial positions in retail and commercial banking, with a tier one Canadian bank. Darrell graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Honours. B.A, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a M.B.A. degree from the University of Windsor.
Cam joined Stonebridge in 2009 as Vice President, Project Financing-Energy to develop opportunities in Project Finance, including the structuring, syndication and closing of new transactions in the institutional market.
Cam brings to Stonebridge over 25 years private debt market experience including the financing of corporate, asset, project and lease financing transactions and specializes in energy financing, including wind, solar, hydro, co-generation, bi-mass and bio-gas.
Cam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from York University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from McMaster University.
Omer joined Stonebridge Financial Corporation in 2014 to lead the firm’s Infrastructure Project Finance team – focusing on financial advisory, and the structuring, syndicating and closing of new infrastructure and PPP based lending opportunities in the bank and institutional markets.
Omer has over 18 years of financial services industry experience, including corporate banking, restructuring, research and project finance. Prior to joining Stonebridge Omer held the position of Senior Director – Project Finance, with Sun Life Investment Management, where he managed a $1 billion portfolio of power and infrastructure/P3 private debt investments. Omer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario, and Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degrees from the University of Windsor.
Vice President & Managing Director, Stonebridge Infrastructure Debt Funds
Yvon joined Stonebridge in 2016 as Vice President & Managing Director, responsible for the Stonebridge Infrastructure Debt Funds.
Yvon joins us after a very successful career in commercial, corporate and investment banking, most recently as Senior Vice President, Corporate Financing with Business Development Bank of Canada (“BDC”) for the past 5 years. Prior to that, he spent 5 years as Managing Director at Societe Generale where he developed, implemented and led the strategy in the Canadian P3 and power project financing markets. Yvon also spent nearly 10 years at ABN AMRO Bank Canada and 7 years at Bank of America (Canada).
Yvon earned a B.Sc. degree from Concordia University in Montreal and a post graduate degree in Accounting from the same University. He was later awarded CPA and CA professional designations, having articled at KPMG.
Diego joined Stonebridge in August of 2011 as a Credit Analyst in the Portfolio Administration group. In March 2012 he joined the Project Financing-Energy team to support the Vice President in structuring, syndicating and closing new power transactions.
Prior to joining Stonebridge, Diego gained over 5 years of investment banking, commodities trading, and financial reporting experience in Asia in the sectors of energy, mining, agriculture and financial institutions.
Diego is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Masters Degree in Finance from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia and a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines.
John Estey joined Stonebridge in 2006 to manage the private bulk lease funding portfolio at Stonebridge, including marketing, structuring, syndicating, closing and managing the administration of bulk lease funding facilities. In 2013, Stonebridge spun off its private bulk lease portfolio to a newly formed affiliated company, Stonebridge Lease Financing Corporation, and John was promoted to President of the new entity.
John brought to Stonebridge an extensive background in credit and lease financing. Prior to joining Stonebridge, John worked for ABN AMRO Leasing Canada, where he held several key positions, including AVP Credit and VP Syndications.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Acadia University and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He also holds a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
Franca Albernaz joined Stonebridge in 2008 and has held several progressive positions. In 2013, Stonebridge spun off its private bulk lease portfolio to a newly formed affiliated company, Stonebridge Lease Financing Corporation, and Franca was made Assistant Vice President of the new entity.
In her current capacity as Assistant Vice President, she is responsible for internal and independent site audits of lease securitization clients, ongoing monitoring and reporting of portfolio activities, lease securitization funding, and general administration of the Bulk Lease Financing portfolio.
Franca brings to Stonebridge more then 30 years of knowledge and experience in the financing and leasing industry. Her responsibilities have included system implementations, credit adjudication, documentation, funding, collections, administration, accounting, syndication, customer service, KYC compliance and business continuity and recovery co-ordination.
Franca is an Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and holds a Computer Programming and Operating Diploma.
