With over $1.0 billion in assets under management, Stonebridge offers institutional investors access to high quality, Canadian private debt investments, characterized by long-term, predictable cash flows with superior risk adjusted returns.

Stonebridge launched its private debt asset management unit in 2012 with the closing of Stonebridge Infrastructure Debt Fund I L.P. (“SIDF I”), the first infrastructure debt fund in Canada. SIDF I was developed with the support of PPP Canada Inc. as a closed-end fund, with total capital commitments of approximately $201.5 million, provided by a number of Canadian institutional investors including the Business Development Bank of Canada and a group of Canadian pension funds. The fund was fully invested within 15 months in 12 unique private debt infrastructure and renewable energy transactions.

Inspired by the overwhelming success of SIDF I, Stonebridge expanded its private debt investment platform with the establishment of Stonebridge Infrastructure Debt Fund II L.P. (“SIDF II”) in 2014 as an open-ended fund, and since 2015, with the provision of investment management services to institutional investors by way of fully discretionary Separately Managed Accounts (“SMAs”).

As of December 31, 2022, SIDF II has approximately $586 million in fully deployed capital commitments and remains open to new investors. Assets Under Management for SMAs total approximately $220 million, including $50 million committed to commercial real estate investment, and $170 million committed to private debt infrastructure transactions.
