Potentia Renewables 17 Limited Partnership

La corporation financière Stonebridge («Stonebridge») est heureux d’annoncer la clôture d’un financement par emprunt à long terme et à taux fixe de 35 millions de dollars relativement à l’acquisition par Potentia Renewables 17 Limited Partnership («PR17») d’un portefeuille de 67 MW d’actifs éoliens et solaires en Nouvelle-Écosse et en Ontario (le «portefeuille»).

L’énergie générée par les projets éoliens est vendue à Nova Scotia Power Inc. et l’énergie générée par les projets solaires est vendue à l’exploitant indépendant du réseau d’électricité, en vertu de divers PPA à long terme.

Stonebridge a agi à titre d’arrangeur financier auprès de PR17 et le financement de l’acquisition du portefeuille a été fourni par les comptes de placement gérés par Stonebridge comprenant le Deuxième Fonds en commandite simple de financement d’infrastructures par emprunt Stonebridge (« SIDF II »), ainsi qu’une autre société de gestion d’actifs canadienne.

Sukunka & Zonnebeke Wind Projects

La corporation financière Stonebridge («Stonebridge») est heureux d’annoncer la clôture d’un financement par emprunt à long terme et à taux fixe de 72 millions de dollars pour la construction et l’exploitation du projet éolien Sukunka de 15 MW et du projet éolien Zonnebeke de 15 MW. Les deux projets sont situés dans la région de Peace River, dans le nord-est de la Colombie-Britannique.

Le projet éolien Sukunka est un partenariat entre la Première nation de Saulteau et Natural Forces. Le projet éolien Zonnebeke est un partenariat entre la Première Nation de West Moberly et Natural Forces. Chacun des projets produira de l’énergie propre et renouvelable qui sera vendue à BC Hydro & Power Authority en vertu d’ententes d’achat d’énergie.

Akaash Khadun has joined the Stonebridge team as a Credit Analyst

Stonebridge is pleased to announce that Akaash Khadun has joined the portfolio administration team as a Credit Analyst. Akaash will administer a portfolio of energy and social infrastructure projects, including credit analysis and covenant testing, project construction funding, and loan security monitoring.

Prior to joining Stonebridge Akaash held the position of Bilingual Senior Credit Officer at CIBC where he was responsible for the administration of commercial mortgages. Akaash also brings international experience gained through several progressive credit positions held in Mauritius.

Akaash holds a CPA, ACCA, and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Mauritius.

In joining Stonebridge Akaash will complement an existing team of financial professionals and will be a valuable resource in our continued effort to provide high quality and trusted portfolio administrative services.

Fred Bourassa promoted to Manager, Institutional Business Development

Stonebridge is very pleased to announce the promotion of Fred Bourassa to the position of Manager, Institutional Business Development.

Since joining the Institutional Business Development team, Fred has been instrumental in advancing our new investor prospecting efforts, covering pension plans, endowments, foundations, insurance companies and institutional investment consultants across Canada.

Fred holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, specialization Urban Planning from Concordia University, and earned a Master of Design from Boston Architectural College. In completing his degree Fred held several challenging work assignments with companies in the construction and renewable energy sector.

Bishal Kafle has joined the Stonebridge team as a Credit Analyst

Stonebridge is pleased to announce that Bishal Kafle has joined the portfolio administration team as a Credit Analyst. Bishal will administer a portfolio of energy and social infrastructure projects, including credit analysis and covenant testing, project construction funding, and loan security monitoring.

Bishal recently moved to Toronto from Denver, where he worked as a Loan Officer at CEDS Finance. In that role, Bishal underwrote loans and provided business mentorship to small business owners. Bishal obtained his MBA in Social and Sustainable Enterprise at Colorado State University. Prior to, he began his professional career in Nepal doing investment advisory and business consulting.

Bishal holds a certification in Impact Investing and Social Enterprise Management.
