Denis Bourassa, Robert Colliver and the Board of Stonebridge Financial Corporation are pleased to announce Jim Cahill will be joining as President effective April 17th.
Mr. Cahill brings to Stonebridge over twenty-five years of experience in the areas of project finance, structured finance, bulk lease securitization, private debt syndication, and public-private partnerships. Most recently, Mr. Cahill was Senior Vice President at Aon Risk Solutions’ Toronto based Construction Services group for three years. Prior to Aon, Mr. Cahill was at Infrastructure Ontario for four years leading the Project Finance department in support of Infrastructure Ontario’s Major Projects, New Business, Buildings and Lands divisions. Mr. Cahill has had a very successful twenty five year career in the Canadian capital markets sector both on the “buy” side as a lender and private placement investor at three Life Insurance companies and on the “sell” side at Stonebridge arranging and syndicating private placement debt and construction financing for corporate borrowers and contractors.
Mr. Cahill brings to Stonebridge a broad range of financing experience, gained through his roles in both the private and public sectors that extends to infrastructure projects including highways, hospitals, court houses, recreation facilities, long-term care homes, waste management facilities, educational institutions, and others.
Mr. Cahill is a graduate of University of Waterloo where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He also holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) designation.
