Serge Yannick Ouattara promoted to Senior Credit Analyst

Stonebridge is pleased to announce that Serge Yannick Ouattara has been promoted to Senior Credit Analyst. Serge will be taking on the role of Senior Credit Analyst providing some additional support to the VP of the portfolio administration team.

He joined Stonebridge in November 2014 as a Credit Analyst – Relationship Officer in the portfolio administration team where he helped manage a portfolio of project financing investments for institutional investor clients.  Prior to Stonebridge, Serge Yannick has worked in the financial market industry for several years, most recently working in project finance for a Canadian renewable power company.

Serge Yannick holds a Bachelor of Commerce from John Molson School of Business, at Concordia University and is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

In taking his new role, Serge Yannick will continue to be part of an existing team of financial professionals and will continue to be a valuable resource in our continued effort to provide high quality and trusted portfolio administrative services.

Ivan has worked in the finance and insurance sector for several years, most recently as an Account Manager with Business Development Bank of Canada (“BDC”). Ivan has recently relocated to Toronto from Montréal and looks forward to bringing his past experience to the team.

He holds a Bachelor Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a concentration in Finance from Bishop’s University.

Cathy holds a Bachelor of Economics degree, majoring in Statistics, from Guangdong University of Business Studies in China. She has worked in the banking sector for more than ten years, starting with one of the leading banks in China then with a local Credit Union in Toronto after moving to Canada.

Yvon J. Jeghers, CPA, CA has joined Stonebridge as Vice President & Managing Director

Stonebridge is very pleased to announce that Yvon J. Jeghers, CPA, CA has joined Stonebridge as Vice President & Managing Director, responsible for the Stonebridge Infrastructure Debt Funds.

Yvon joins us after a very successful career in commercial, corporate and investment banking, most recently as Senior Vice President, Corporate Financing with Business Development Bank of Canada (“BDC”) for the past 5 years. Prior to that, he spent 5 years as Managing Director at Societe Generale where he developed, implemented and led the strategy in the Canadian P3 and power project financing markets. Yvon also spent nearly 10 years at ABN AMRO Bank Canada and 7 years at Bank of America (Canada).

Yvon earned a B.Sc. degree from Concordia University in Montreal and a post graduate degree in Accounting from the same University. He was later awarded CPA and CA professional designations, having articled at KPMG.

Moncton Events Centre Project

Stonebridge Financial Corporation (“Stonebridge”) is pleased to announce the achievement of financial close by Bird Capital Limited Partnership of a $77.0 million debt financing for the construction of the Moncton Downtown Centre Facility project, a 9,000 seat multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility to be built in downtown Moncton, New Brunswick (the “Project”).

The two-phase project includes the design, construction and financing of the facility (phase 1), followed by operation and maintenance of the facility over a 30 year period (phase 2). Stonebridge acted as Financial Advisor to the Consortium, which was led by Bird Capital Limited Partnership and included Bird Construction Inc. and SMG. Construction financing for the Project was provided by TD Bank Financial Group and BMO Bank of Montreal.

Upon graduation she started her career in corporate finance where she spent 3+ years specializing in commercial real estate lending. Brittany has recently relocated to Toronto from Alberta and looks forward to bringing her credit experience to the team.
