Robert M. Colliver, CFA
Partner, Chairman and CEO
Robert Colliver is Partner, Chairman and CEO at Stonebridge Financial Corporation.
Bob’s career spans over 40 years of commercial and corporate lending experience, in the Canadian banking and private placement sector. Bob’s extensive financing experience includes energy, public sector financing (hospital and long-term care redevelopment), bulk lease securitization, mortgage bond investments, commercial loans, transportation equipment lending, natural resource lending, and many others.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Guelph where he received a B.Sc. degree in 1977, and of McMaster University, where he earned his M.B.A. in 1980. He also received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1990. Bob is an Advising Representative registered with the Ontario Securities Commission.
Darrell Salter, MBA, CIM, FCSI
Executive Vice President, COO and CCO
Darrell Salter joined Stonebridge in 2002 and presently is responsible for corporate operations, including IT, Human Resources, regulatory reporting, compliance, corporate and trust accounting, and cash management.
Prior to joining Stonebridge, Darrell gained over 8 years of financial experience, through various managerial positions in retail and commercial banking, with a tier one Canadian bank. Darrell graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Honours. B.A, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a M.B.A. degree from the University of Windsor.
Cam Di Giorgio
Partner and Executive Vice President
Cam joined Stonebridge in 2009 as Vice President, Project Finance to develop opportunities in Project Finance, including the structuring, syndication and closing of new transactions in the institutional market. In 2021, Cam took an equity position in the company to become Partner and Executive Vice President.
Cam brings to Stonebridge over 34 years private debt market experience including the financing of corporate, asset, project and lease financing transactions and specializes in energy financing, including wind, solar, hydro, co-generation, bi-mass and bio-gas.
Cam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from York University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from McMaster University.
Robert Mann
Managing Director, Institutional Sales
Rob joined Stonebridge in 2018 as Managing Director, Institutional Sales to bring new institutional relationships and committed capital for the firm’s Asset Management group.
Prior to joining Stonebridge, Rob was the Global Head of Sales for Sun Life Institutional Investments, and Managing Director at East Coast Fund Management, both in Toronto. Prior to those roles, he held senior business development positions at The Carlyle Group and Fidelity Investments in San Francisco and Aon Hewitt in New York and Chicago.
Rob graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1996 with degrees in math and economics.
Rishi Gehi, MFin, CFA
Vice President, Project Finance
Rishi joined Stonebridge in 2013 and has held several progressive positions at the company, most recently as Vice President, Project Finance. Rishi has helped to respond to public procurements and secure committed financing for a variety of projects including P3/AFP transactions in the healthcare, social infrastructure, transportation, and utilities sectors. While at Stonebridge, Rishi has been instrumental in facilitating the development of new financing opportunities across the North American infrastructure market and has helped to secure and maintain a host of sponsor relationships for Stonebridge in the sector.
Prior to joining Stonebridge, Rishi worked in corporate lending at a Schedule I Canadian chartered bank. In addition to his professional experience, Rishi has received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a Masters of Finance from Queen’s University, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Angela Valdes
Vice President, Private Debt Asset Management
Angela joined Stonebridge in 2014 in our Portfolio Administration team to assist with the management of a portfolio of project finance investments. In 2016 she joined the Asset Management team to support the valuation and reporting functions of the unit, and has since progressed to senior management level.
In her current role as Vice President, Private Debt Asset Management, Angela is responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of new investment opportunities for Stonebridge Infrastructure Debt Funds and separately Managed Accounts, and related portfolio management and investor reporting and communication, as well supporting fund raising activities.
Prior to joining Stonebridge, Angela spent several years working in corporate banking for Grupo Financiero Banorte. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Master’s degree in Finance from the Universidad Regiomontana.
John Estey
President, Stonebridge Lease Financing Solutions Inc.
John Estey joined Stonebridge in 2006 to manage the private bulk lease funding portfolio at Stonebridge, including marketing, structuring, syndicating, closing and managing the administration of bulk lease funding facilities. In 2021, Stonebridge’s bulk leasing division was spun off into a separately owned and operated company, Stonebridge Lease Financing Solutions Inc.
John brought to Stonebridge an extensive background in credit and lease financing. Prior to joining Stonebridge, John worked for ABN AMRO Leasing Canada, where he held several key positions, including AVP Credit and VP Syndications.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Acadia University and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He also holds a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
Francesca Albernaz
Vice President, Stonebridge Lease Financing Solutions Inc.
Franca Albernaz joined Stonebridge in 2008 and has held several progressive positions. In 2021, Stonebridge’s bulk leasing division was spun off into a separately owned and operated company, Stonebridge Lease Financing Solutions Inc.
In her current capacity as Vice President, she is responsible for internal and independent site audits of lease securitization clients, ongoing monitoring and reporting of portfolio activities, lease securitization funding, and general administration of the Bulk Lease Financing portfolio.
Franca brings to Stonebridge more then 30 years of knowledge and experience in the financing and leasing industry. Her responsibilities have included system implementations, credit adjudication, documentation, funding, collections, administration, accounting, syndication, customer service, KYC compliance and business continuity and recovery co-ordination.
Franca is an Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and holds a Computer Programming and Operating Diploma.
Fan Zhang
Assistant Vice President, Stonebridge Lease Financing Solutions Inc.
Fan Zhang joined Stonebridge in 2016 as part of the portfolio administration team, later serving as Manager of the portfolio administration group, overseeing a portfolio of private placement investments. In 2019, Fan joined the Lease Financing team to support the structuring and closing new transactions and the administration of the bulk lease financing portfolio. In 2021, Stonebridge’s bulk leasing division was spun off into a separately owned and operated company, Stonebridge Lease Financing Solutions Inc. and Fan was promoted to Assistant Vice President.
Prior to joining Stonebridge, Fan spent several years working for a private investment management firm located in Los Angeles, where he was involved in origination, underwriting and post-investment management of a portfolio of real estate development projects. Fan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in Accounting, from the University of Toronto.
